Suddenly, people start leaving everything and wander in one direction - ah, well, not a very typical Pandemic-based story in the USA with a freaking cool KI called black swan (!).[Wolf]

This book has often been compared to Stephen King's "The Stand" and while there are certainly similarities it is also definitely a comparison in which Wendig can hold his own. The sleepwalking sickness is an interesting innovation and societal pressures and changes under a real pandemic are well realized. The relentless tightening of dramatic tension is not something we usually get in reality, but it makes for a lot more enjoyable reading than the news. [Marc]
